Vamco Thickness Measurement
The thickness measuring system utilizes sensors to measure the incoming material thickness. Thickness data is then utilized by the Quantum lamination stacking control for determining the correct number of laminations required to maintain the desired motor core stack height. Cost savings may be realized in reduced scrap and re-work of the finished motor cores.
